Terms of Service

By accessing or using Swingology (“the platform,” “we,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

To access most features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not impersonate another person or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

Swingology offers paid membership tiers billed on a monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• ◆You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• ◆Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
• ◆We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law
• ◆Prices may change with 30 days advance notice to active members

Sponsored memberships are funded by paying members. By accepting a sponsored membership, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• ◆Your access is contingent on your sponsor maintaining an active paid membership
• ◆If your sponsor cancels, your sponsored access may be suspended or transferred to another sponsor from our pool
• ◆Sponsored memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared
• ◆We reserve the right to revoke sponsored access if the program is misused
• ◆Sponsorship applications are evaluated at our sole discretion

When using Swingology, you agree not to:

• ◆Post content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or hateful toward other members
• ◆Share login credentials or allow others to access your account
• ◆Reproduce, distribute, or resell course content outside the platform
• ◆Attempt to circumvent any access controls, paywalls, or security features
• ◆Use the platform for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
• ◆Post spam, unsolicited promotions, or irrelevant content in community areas

Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform at our discretion, without refund.

All video lessons, written materials, class recaps, and other content on Swingology are the intellectual property of Swingology and its instructors. Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access this content for your own learning.

You may not record, download, screen-capture, redistribute, or repurpose platform content without explicit written permission.

Video critique and private lesson perks included with certain membership tiers are subject to availability and scheduling. These perks:

• ◆Do not roll over between billing periods unless otherwise stated
• ◆Must be used by the account holder and may not be gifted or transferred
• ◆Are subject to reasonable scheduling lead times — typically 1–2 weeks
• ◆May be forfeited if a booking is missed without 24-hour notice

Swingology is a community built around a shared love of swing dance. We expect all members to treat each other with respect and kindness. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that undermine the welcoming nature of the community, even if not explicitly prohibited above.

Swingology is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we are not liable for any loss of data or inability to access the platform due to technical issues outside our control.

Dance involves physical activity. Swingology is not responsible for any injury that may result from attempting movements demonstrated in course content. Always dance within your own physical limits and consult a medical professional if you have concerns.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us or through account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your access to paid content will end. We may retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from your use of Swingology will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration.
